My Testimony of the Savior

I thought I would start out this blog with sharing something very special to me, especially since it is a major part of who I am, and that is my testimony of Jesus Christ:

Jesus Christ is the Savior for all men. He lived a perfect life preaching the gospel of repentance. He performed miracles by healing the sick, maimed, and blind, raising the dead, and forgiving those who sincerely repented.

He paid for my sins and for the sins of every person who had lived or who would ever live. After He suffered incomprehensible pain and agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, He freely gave up His life. At the end of three days He took his life back, rising as a resurrected and immortal being from the tomb. I know that He still lives today.

My testimony of the Savior is in large part why I am who I am. I know that He lives. I know that He loves me. I know that He wants me to be happy, and I know that this is true for all of His children.

"Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
-Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
